Megumi was our celebrant for our legals only ceremony in Sydney. She was all in all a wonderful celebrant who smoothly arranged all the practicalities of the ceremony for us, always on hand for updates/clarifications, and was such a joyful and reassuring presence on the day. We flew in from abroad and had to reschedule last minute for our initial date due to a visa issue. Megumi graciously accommodated us and we were blessed to have her for our big day. Megumi was an amazing celebrant. She was incredibly thoughtful and thorough from start to finish. She placed so much thought into making our day as special as possible, by supporting us through the planning stage all the way through to detailed tips on the day for smooth execution. Megumi has great attention to detail and organisation, keeping us on track on the day as well as fashion that is on point with the brief. Could not recommend Megumi more! Megumi was our Celebrant/MC/Coordinator for our wedding and was one of the best decisions we made. Her calm presence, beautiful words and positive demeanour just made our day. She was so organised (particularly when we were not) and really made the whole day come together. We decided to have our wedding in Australia, but to be honest, we felt quite overwhelmed at first because there were so many things we didn't know about planning a wedding overseas. That's why we chose Megumi as our celebrant. As an international couple, having a celebrant who could communicate with us in both Japanese and English was incredibly helpful and reassuring from the very beginning. I still remember meeting Megumi for the first time during our consultation. She was warm, cheerful, and always willing to answer our questions. Her support made us feel much more confident and comfortable throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly thanks to her professional guidance and wonderful delivery of the ceremony. We were able to relax, enjoy every moment, and focus on celebrating our special day without any worries. We are truly grateful that we chose Megumi as our celebrant. I would highly recommend her to any couple planning their wedding. For us, having someone who could communicate in both Japanese and English was incredibly valuable, especially as my family traveled from Japan to attend our wedding. We heard about Megumi through word of mouth - one of our friends had her as their celebrant and one as their celebrant and MC, and they both told us how incredible she was on their wedding days. Once we met her, we knew straight away that we wanted her as our celebrant and MC for our special day. Megumi was such a joy to work with. She is not only super experienced at what she does, but is also kind, has a great sense of humour, and is genuinely great to have around. From the very first communication with Megumi she was clear, professional and has fantastic attention to detail. Her information sheets helped us so much in planning for our day, including really useful prompts and questions to help with structuring both the ceremony and the reception. She was adaptable, highly knowledgeable and flexible with timings both before and on the wedding day, and she struck the perfect balance of calm and fun! She worked so seamlessly with all of our vendors and made us feel completely at ease. We were married at The Grounds of Alexandria and had a destination wedding in Sydney, coming over from New Zealand. Planning a wedding from overseas can be stressful, but Megumi made the entire process feel so easy and reassuring from the very beginning. She was absolutely fantastic at tailoring the ceremony to suit us, our personalities, and what we wanted for our day. At times we were very stressed with wedding planning, but Megumi constantly reassured us that we were doing well and genuinely helped take the pressure off. She made sure everything ran smoothly and felt natural rather than scripted. Our family and friends had such a great time and felt really comfortable during the ceremony. So many people commented on how warm, personal, and relaxed it all felt. It truly was our dream wedding, and Megumi played a huge part in that. What really stood out was how well she got to know us and how respectfully she incorporated and honoured our cultural needs. It honestly felt like we were married by a family member rather than someone we’d only met during planning. We would highly recommend Megumi to anyone.
